The New Online Approach

With everything going on with COVID-19, the world of talking therapies as well as individual development has taken a digital turn.

As a result, for one-on-one sessions, there are a multitude of ways in which we can connect: from Zoom, to Skype, to FaceTime and even the telephone should you prefer. If you have another method, do let me know. The important thing is, I want to see your face as I question your construction of self. I want to hear your language patterns as we discuss how you think. The cool part is when your face matches your language and I can see it. This is the perfect opportunity to disrupt how we construct our environment and our culture and if they fit our construction of self.

So just because we’re on lockdown does not mean we can’t grow how we think about our construction of self and our environment.

Four Ways to Connect

Skype

If your preference is Skype then email me and I’ll will send you my Skype name.

It’s a great system but we are restricted to four participants if we don’t have the business version.

Zoom

Zoom is the new kid on the block and now that the CEO has promised to fix all their security issues – after a new “ZoomBomb” word was added to the digital lexicon – it is a stable and robust way of video conferencing.

Email me for my Zoom account and we can begin. It would even be useful for large groups.

MS Teams

Microsoft’s player in the online conferencing arena is an excellent programme. I use it to teach students from all over the world as they login to my lectures. The only issue is bandwidth when using video, but that’s mainly for Indian and Chinese students.

If you are familiar with MS Teams, get in touch today and we can connect via Bill Gates.

FaceTime

Steve Jobs’ involvement with conferencing preceded the others but FaceTime isn’t the best unless you have a Mac laptop. It does allow up to 32 people to join though.

If FaceTime is your thing, my mobile number is available upon request.
